Can't Praise Them Enough

I have used this company for many years to take care of my trees and garden, the results are always excellent. So I decided to ask for my fencing to be replaced, it was a big job and not easy. But I can definitely recommend this company, excellent work, excellent materials used, amazing attention to detail, ensuring the job was of the highest quality. The team are great, a real family business, easy to talk to, pleasant and professional. If you need any work doing in your garden these are the guys to call. The most important thing is they really want to do a great job taking pride in their work, and they want you to be happy with the result, showing respect for your garden and you. I will always use these guys for any outside work I require.

This is the second time we have employed Four Oaks Tree Surgery for landscaping work in our back garden. Our first job was carried out several years ago and looks as good today as when first completed. We contacted John on Thursday and the job was completed today! (Four days later!!) They were able to suggest aesthetic ways to overcome a problem with a tree stump and the finished path is better than we'd anticipated. The team worked hard, cleared out some rubbish that was not part of the job and left the wider area cleaner and tidier than before they arrived! We are delighted with the outcome and have already requested a quote for a future project!

John knocked on this morning as he had been doing work in the area and saw how out of control our conifers had become - it was something that has been on our list to do but we hadn't got round to it yet. Offered such a good deal that we couldn't say no. Carried out the work to a high standard and was pleasant through our and not at all pushy unlike some previous people we've had knock on about jobs. Whilst here looked at a very large over hanging beech tree and carried out work on that too for a very good price, including trimming a nearby beech hedge! If I need any work doing in the future they'll be the first people I call, thank you.

John installed our new shed in January (I never leave a review straight away - like to ensure the product is suitable) - husband contacted John and he visited within a couple of hours to see what we required. Old shed removed, adjusted base from old shed (12’ x 6’) to fit new shed (10’ x 8’). We were very pleased with the service we received, quality of work was excellent. Shed is very well made and put together, unlike our old one - the roof started to sag a week after installation and it started to get quite ‘rickety’ very quickly - hence my delay in posting a review - just like to make sure. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend John and his workmanship.

Had a large tree fall down in the February storms. Four Oaks removed the stump and rebuilt the stone wall, at the same time enlarging the driveway entrance and creating a rockery at the side with the left over stones. Work was done quickly and efficiently. Also relaid the pebble driveway and got rid of a load of ivy (beautiful but can cause all sorts of problems) off a garage and the neighbours extension which borders our property, cut back our "jungle" of a front garden. Recommended!

Amazing job trimming & cutting back our trees & opening up our woodland area! So much lighter & looking forward to planting some bulbs in there. Very tidy & they even cleared our paths that they had no need to! Polite, helpful & happy to give advice. They obviously care for their customers & about giving good customer service. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Great job would highly recommend. Huge conifer cut down, and taken away. Some logs were left behind for our log burner as discussed but I realised there was too much for us to store, got In touch with John and was back next day to collect what we didn’t want. Friendly, reliable turned up when said and got the job done quickly. Will be using four oaks again in the future for any further work we decide to have done.

John cut a tree down for us; he cleaned up and left it all neat and tidy. He returned the next day: to complete the stump removal; also to refit blocks that had raised through the roots and added stone chippings around the edge. Fantastic; highly recommend; very knowledgeable. 5*. Most definitely, we will use again.
